Show 141 - Culture Club - Live At The Lyceum Theatre London - 2 Nov 1982

The first upload for 2020 features Culture Club in a relatively rare early gig just as they'd hit #1 in the UK charts with "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?".

Originally an FM recording this might have been already tweaked by someone else in the past as the bass was quite overloaded and distorting in places. So I mainly attacked it with EQ this time to remove that and it sounds great - a lovely clear stereo recording of a surprisingly powerful and lively set.

You can safely download all of this improved recording for free HERE as one 320 kbps MP3 file with no pop up ads getting in the way.

Or, if you would like to support the site with a small donation towards storage subscription and internet costs, in return you can have the remastered show as separate, properly tagged MP3s or even lossless files in FLAC format; head on over to the Donations tab to see how you can do this.

Either way - enjoy the show!

Setlist
I'll Tumble 4 Ya
Take Control
Love Twist
I'm Afraid Of Me
Time (Clock Of The Heart)
You Know I'm Not Crazy
Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?

So all good that you are back with again a So very Superb Concert..

But that would be Just Fantastic if you can Get Hold over A early Duran Duran
Like following Duran Duran Live at Glasgow, Apollo Sunday 31 th October 1982 (This was a Radio Concert with some fantastic early Versions ) So if you can Hold over this = Then Superduper!!

    1. Thanks Tomas. There is an early Duran Duran concert on this site from that tour - just a few days after Glasgow. Have a look under "Duran Duran" and you will find it - it's a great gig.

And yes, I do have a Human League gig 81/82 and that will be coming this year, for sure! Thanks again.
